The Narrogin Regional Child Care Services Inc. was established in 1988 as a multifunctional service. This multifunctional service caters to the needs of Narrogin and its surrounding community by providing different types of care:
The Narrogin Regional Child Care Centre is licensed to care for fifty-seven (57) children and provides for both permanent and occasional care.
The Great Beginnings Family Day Care Service provides childcare in private homes in Narrogin and surrounding areas. Each home is licensed by the Education and Care Services Regulation Unit. The Service Coordination Unit assists Educators with licensing procedures, fee processing and provision of resources such as the toy library.
Mobile Outreach Service provides licensed occasional child care to outlying towns. Our mobile van travels to community halls, pre-primary buildings and other suitable venues to provide the children in small towns with a child care program.
The services operate as a non-profit organization. Operating expenses are met by financial support from the Commonwealth Government, fees paid by clients and Child Care Benefit payments through the Commonwealth Government.
